The 1972 Orbit Robot timepiece shows off the perfect fusion between the stylish design cues of an era and the reliability of a functional tool watch. Given the rarity of this particular model, it was important for BENRUS to celebrate it by maintaining the exact and very contemporary dimensions as the original with every step taken to bring forward the same design, but with improved performance with modern day materials.
Featuring the same classic 41mm 'UFO' cushion case style in stainless steel with matching bracelet, the new BENRUS Orbit Robot is a funky yet fashionable Swiss Made dive timepiece. One of the stand-out features of the original and the current reissue is the grey fumé dial, which was paid particular attention to in order to fully replicate the depth and radiance of the original grey watch model. The center of the dial starts with a light grey metallic and darkens as you move towards the outer edge, finished with orange and white hands.
Additional features include a Soprod P024 Swiss movement, domed sapphire crystal, BGW9 Super-LumiNova on hour indices, and hands, stainless steel friction fit bezel with lumed 12 o’clock triangle, and screw-down crown for 20ATM water resistance. For maximum versatility and without changing the overall dimensions, the inner lug size has been increased to accommodate 20mm straps.
The case back features a custom BENRUS robot orbiting the Earth, a fun update made to honor the name of the watch.

How Long Will it Take to Ship My Order?
Most items ship within 48 business hours. Items do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday.
How Can I Check My Order Status?
If you created an account when you placed your order, please log-in using your user name and password and your order status information will be available on your account page. If you checked out as a guest and did not create an account, you can also check your order status using the order number we sent in your order confirmation email and the email address you used when you placed your order.
Tracking Your Order
When your order ships, we will email you a shipping confirmation which will contain carrier and tracking information. If you created an account when you checked out, you can also obtain this information by logging into your account online.

Sales Tax
Sales tax is charged for orders shipped to U.S. states where we have a business presence and/or we have determined sales taxes are applicable. Items shipped to APO / FPO military addresses are not subject to taxes. The amount of state sales tax charged is based on current tax rates. State and local tax rates are subject to change at any time. Tax will be refunded for returned items.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Why didn't all of my items ship in one package?
While we strive to include all items in a single package, however, due to our pick & pack process, this is not always the case. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking information for each package shipped and there are no additional fees of any kind for split-shipments.
Delivery Times
Standard Shipping orders will arrive in 3 - 5 business days within the continental 48 states, 7-14 days for Hawaii, Alaska and US Territories, and up to 4 weeks for APO/FPO addresses. Expedited shipping has a delivery time of 2-3 business days. Two-day delivery will arrive in 2 days (excluding Sunday) if the order is placed by 11 AM EST. Two-Day delivery service is not available for APO/FBO, Hawaii, Alaska or US Territories.
RETURNS + EXCHANGES
We have a 30 day return and exchange policy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will make it right or refund your original purchase price (less the shipping and handling fees).
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be unworn, unwashed with original tags attached.
Warranty
BENRUS warrants, for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, the hands, movement and dial face plate of this timepiece to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Only timepieces purchased directly from BENRUS or at Authorized BENRUS retailers are covered under this warranty. Excluded from warranty coverage are any damage to the band, crystal (glass), battery or any other part of the timepiece not expressly warranted herein, as well as damage caused by abnormal or unreasonable use. In order to fulfill the warranty requirements, including battery changes, all timepieces must be repaired by a BENRUS Authorized Service Center. The warranty becomes null and void if the caseback is opened by anyone other than an Authorized Service Center. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Additional rights may be available under the laws of your State.
Warranty Repair
If your BENRUS timepiece has a manufacturer's defect covered by our two-year warranty, we will repair or replace it, at our discretion without charge. Please ship all watches to the Authorized Service Center in appropriate, protective packaging (not the original display box) and complete and include the downloadable repair form as seen below. It is recommended that you insure and track shipments.
Please provide:
- Your name, address, phone number and an email address, if possible
- Proof of point of purchase, date of purchase, model/serial #
- A brief description of the issue and repair needed
Out of Warranty
A damaged timepiece not covered by our warranty can be repaired by our Authorized Service Center. Note that repair costs and handling charges may apply. Include your name, address, phone number, and a valid email address (optional) with your return, along with a brief description of the repair needed.
Please ship your timepiece insured via carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

Shipping
Orders placed before 12 PM PST on weekdays will be fulfilled same day and all other orders will be shipped within 24 hours. Orders placed over the weekend are processed the following Monday. Items can be returned or exchanged up to 30 days after the initial purchase.
International Shipping
Benrus Watch Co delivers internationally Via Fedex International Priority. Prices are determined by location and can be obtained in the order process before the payment screen. Benrus watch Co does not charge any US local sales taxes for International orders, but you are responsible for all local customs, import and duties required by your country. It is the buyers responsibility to be aware of local import taxes and fees whit which Benrus has no involvement with. Any packages refused by customer will have to be processed by Fedex and can take up to 4 weeks to be returned upon which point a credit will be issued for the purchase price minus the shipping cost.
