The BENRUS ‘DTU,’ originally issued in 1964, was the result of modifications requested by the US military for combat watch specifications in the early 60s. The revision was meant to simplify the requirements for a 17-jewel hacking wristwatch with an extended service life. BENRUS created the DTU-2A/P per this request, which subsequently led to the development of the iconic Type I. To mark 100 years of watchmaking, the brand looks back to this popular vintage military timepiece and unveils a re-edition of the original BENRUS DTU-2A/P field watch. Featuring a 39.5mm bead blasted 316L stainless steel case with black dial, numerals and indices in white, inner ring with military time along with Super-LumiNova hands and markers. Powered by a Sellita SW200 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve and 5ATM water resistance, the watch is finished with a doubled domed acrylic crystal and offered on a green seatbelt nylon single pass NATO strap. Since many soldiers outfitted and personalized their own watches, the new BENRUS DTU-2A/P comes with a removable military compass attached to the strap. Assembled in the USA, the watch also features all the original case back markings of the vintage version.

      What are your customer service hours?
      We are readily available Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. Weekend inquiries will be answered in the order of receipt on Monday (there is no need to resend as we answer the oldest messages and emails first).



      How Long Will it Take to Ship My Order?
      Most items ship within 48 business hours. Items do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday.

      How Can I Check My Order Status?
      If you created an account when you placed your order, please log-in using your user name and password and your order status information will be available on your account page. If you checked out as a guest and did not create an account, you can also check your order status using the order number we sent in your order confirmation email and the email address you used when you placed your order.

      Tracking Your Order
      When your order ships, we will email you a shipping confirmation which will contain carrier and tracking information. If you created an account when you checked out, you can also obtain this information by logging into your account online.



      Accepted Payment Methods 
      We accept most major credit cards including VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept Apple Pay.

      Sales Tax
      Sales tax is charged for orders shipped to U.S. states where we have a business presence and/or we have determined sales taxes are applicable. Items shipped to APO / FPO military addresses are not subject to taxes. The amount of state sales tax charged is based on current tax rates. State and local tax rates are subject to change at any time. Tax will be refunded for returned items.



      Why didn't all of my items ship in one package?
      While we strive to include all items in a single package, however, due to our pick & pack process, this is not always the case. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking information for each package shipped and there are no additional fees of any kind for split-shipments.

      Delivery Times

      Standard Shipping orders will arrive in 3 - 5 business days within the continental 48 states, 7-14 days for Hawaii, Alaska and US Territories, and up to 4 weeks for APO/FPO addresses. Expedited shipping has a delivery time of 2-3 business days. Two-day delivery will arrive in 2 days (excluding Sunday) if the order is placed by 11 AM EST. Two-Day delivery service is not available for APO/FBO, Hawaii, Alaska or US Territories. 



      We have a 30 day return and exchange policy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will make it right or refund your original purchase price (less the shipping and handling fees). 

      To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be unworn, unwashed with original tags attached. 


      BENRUS warrants, for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, the hands, movement and dial face plate of this timepiece to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Only timepieces purchased directly from BENRUS or at Authorized BENRUS retailers are covered under this warranty. Excluded from warranty coverage are any damage to the band, crystal (glass), battery or any other part of the timepiece not expressly warranted herein, as well as damage caused by abnormal or unreasonable use. In order to fulfill the warranty requirements, including battery changes, all timepieces must be repaired by a BENRUS Authorized Service Center. The warranty becomes null and void if the caseback is opened by anyone other than an Authorized Service Center. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Additional rights may be available under the laws of your State.


      Warranty Repair

      If your BENRUS timepiece has a manufacturer's defect covered by our two-year warranty, we will repair or replace it, at our discretion without charge. Please ship all watches to the Authorized Service Center in appropriate, protective packaging (not the original display box) and complete and include the downloadable repair form as seen below. It is recommended that you insure and track shipments.

      Please provide:

      - Your name, address, phone number and an email address, if possible

      - Proof of point of purchase, date of purchase, model/serial #

      - A brief description of the issue and repair needed

      Out of Warranty

      A damaged timepiece not covered by our warranty can be repaired by our Authorized Service Center. Note that repair costs and handling charges may apply. Include your name, address, phone number, and a valid email address (optional) with your return, along with a brief description of the repair needed.

      Please ship your timepiece insured via carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

      If the repair is under warranty, there is no charge.




      Orders placed before 12 PM PST on weekdays will be fulfilled same day and all other orders will be shipped within 24 hours. Orders placed over the weekend are processed the following Monday. Items can be returned or exchanged up to 30 days after the initial purchase.

      International Shipping

      Benrus Watch Co delivers internationally Via Fedex International Priority. Prices are determined by location and can be obtained in the order process before the payment screen. Benrus watch Co does not charge any US local sales taxes for International orders, but you are responsible for all local customs, import and duties required by your country. It is the buyers responsibility to be aware of local import taxes and fees whit which Benrus has no involvement with. Any packages refused by customer will have to be processed by Fedex and can take up to 4 weeks to be returned upon which point a credit will be issued for the purchase price minus the shipping cost.
